BodyFruit

A nutritious snack brand offering dried fruit “chips” made from up to 15 different fruits in every pack. Designed to make snacking healthier and more convenient, the venture used creative branding, online marketing, and strategic B2B partnerships to scale rapidly in the local market.

BodyFruit was founded to redefine snacking by providing fruit-based “chips” packed with vitamins and flavor. Operating on a lean budget, I performed every function—branding, product R&D, manufacturing, and last-mile delivery—until the business reached profitability and an attractive exit opportunity emerged.

Key Achievements

Multi-Channel Sales Strategy
Negotiated B2B deals with a leading agribusiness (40 stores) and additional retail locations, while simultaneously selling to consumers via social media and targeted ads.

First Website & Branding
Developed my own website in 2016 and designed the product’s logo and packaging, creating a recognizable brand identity.

Lean Operations & Rapid Profitability
Set up a small-scale production line (drying ovens from China) and personally prepared and delivered products by bicycle. Achieved profitability within one year, demonstrating the model’s viability.

Successful Exit
Showcased solid B2B contracts and growing consumer interest, resulting in a lucrative business sale.
